The education that we provide at Bold Voices can sometimes be distressing. Whether it’s something that comes up from our content online, in a talk or workshop, or during project work in schools, it’s important to know there are lots of resources and organisations who can support you.

NSPCC Helpline: Reporting Abuse in Education

Dedicated helpline for children and young people who have experienced sexual harassment or abuse at school, and for worried adults and professionals that need support and guidance.

Chayn

A global nonprofit, run by survivors and allies from around the world, creating resources to inform and support the healing of survivors of gender-based violence. Including ‘Getting Better and Moving On’ guide.

Galop LGBT+

Helplines, support and online community supporting LGBT+ people who are victims of domestic abuse, sexual violence, hate crime, so-called conversion therapies, honour-based abuse, forced marriage, and other forms of abuse.

Rape Crisis

National organisation offering support and counselling for those affected by rape and sexual abuse. Umbrella body for a network of independent Rape Crisis Centres.

Survivors UK

Male rape and sexual abuse support through national helpline and both individual counselling and group work.

The Survivors Trust

A national umbrella agency for over 125 specialist voluntary sector agencies throughout the UK and Ireland providing a range of counselling, therapeutic and support services working with women, men and children who are victims/survivors of rape, sexual violence and sexual abuse.

Hidayah

A leading Queer Muslim Charity who work to promote awareness and education about the lived experiences of Queer Muslims as well as provide support and welfare for LGBTQI+ Muslims.
