Bold Voices is looking for new Board Members!

Bold Voices are looking for new board members to fill skills gaps and to support as we consolidate our operational running and grows in the future.
Founded in 2018, today we’re a small team with 4 full time members of staff and 14 expert freelance facilitators from across the UK. Our backgrounds are varied and include masters level study in gender and education as well as many years experience facilitating difficult conversations with young people
The purpose of the board is to support Bold Voices in its growth and operational running. The Bold Voices board is intended to complement and strengthen the strategic and operational running of Bold Voices, led by CEO & Founder Natasha Eeles.
In this role you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of a dynamic social impact organisation with a vision to eradicate young people’s experiences of gender inequality and gender-based violence.

Key support the board provide:
Strategic Vision: Collaborate with other board members and leadership to establish and guide the organisation's strategic direction and long-term objectives.
Governance and Compliance: Ensure Bold Voices adheres to ethical standards, legal requirements, and regulatory compliance. Oversee governance practices, ethical guidelines, and risk management.
Financial Stewardship: Participate in financial planning and budgeting processes and support with ensuring responsible fiscal management and the efficient allocation of resources.
Stakeholder Engagement & Resource Mobilisation: Serve as a dedicated advocate and foster strong, mutually beneficial connections. Utilise your network and experience to support the organisation's mission and projects.
Safeguarding: Support the organisation with safeguarding policies, procedures and implementing a safeguarding culture throughout the organisation.
We’re particularly interested in people people with proven experience of the following areas: Safeguarding, Public Relations and Media, HR and People, Fundraising and Growth.

We’re looking for engaging, creative and enthusiastic workshop facilitators to deliver our innovative and impactful training and workshops in schools and universities.
Role Type: Freelance
Location: The role is predominantly London and South West, with some workshops taking place elsewhere in the UK (any travel, subsistence and/or accommodation outside of London is covered by Bold Voices/clients).
Our workshop facilitators are responsible for engagingly and impactfully delivering workshops rooted in academic theory and lived experience of gender inequality and gender-based violence in schools and universities.
This delivery could be a one-off 2 hour workshop, a day delivering several workshops or consecutive days of delivery. Our workshops and training are drawn from unique Bold Voices content.
Workshop facilitators are also responsible for certain administrative, preparatory and logistical tasks relating to the successful running of a workshop. This will include:
Preparation of resources
Management and transportation of any resources required
Reflection and feedback following any workshops.
