“Our project aimed to address the issues regarding harassment specifically focussing on verbal, physical and psychological harassment.

Although it is unfortunate that women face different forms of harassment, it is important for society to address these issues in order to create a safe and respectful environment for all.

Our goal was to educate young adults and challenge their misconceptions. We believed we could create this change by encouraging discussions as opening up conversations allowed us to understand the experiences of innocent victims who struggle to address their difficulties.”

“We began by conducting research within our peers into various types of harassment. As a group we collectively combined our research into a presentation.

Additionally, we designed a social media post which helped raise awareness throughout our sixth form. Subsequently, we created helpline cards that allowed individuals to seek additional support if necessary.”

WHAT WAS OUR IMPACT?

”We reached our goal as we successfully raised awareness however we feel like our message may not have resonated with some boys. To conclude, we collectively believe this project was successful as it provided us with a platform to speak about issues that are important to us.”
